Task 2

Fill out this worksheet on your fairy tale.

Task 3
Decide on one element of your tale that you are going to change. You and your group must decide what part you want to modify. Are you going to have a new ending? A different setting? A different plot? A different main character? A different villain?

Task 4

Create a script telling your modified fairy tale. Your script must include all of the lines that the characters are going to say. You must also include a description of the setting. You are going to use this script to act out your tale.

Once you are finished your script, hand it in to your teacher, get it checked and then begin task 5.

Task 5

Decide how you are going to act out your story. You can perform a play, use puppets, make a radio program or create a video. Use your script to help you know what you are going to do in your play. Get creative. Costumes and props are welcome. Make sure you do lots and lots of practice. Try to memorize your lines.

Use this rubric to discover how you will be graded on your play.
